Jackie Thompson, HSCG Certified Master Soapmaker and author of Liquid Soapmaking is a proud supporter of the HSCG. She is a past board member, honorary lifetime member and currently serves on the Certification and Policies, Procedures and BylawsCommittees. She has spoken at numerous soapmaking conferences on various soapmaking topics and written articles for Cut to the Trace. She and daughter Gaily have been soapmakers since 1998 selling Gaily Rebecca Soaps retail, wholesale and private label.

Catherine McGinnis is the owner of Soaping101, one of the most popular social media outlets for soapmaking tutorials and advice. She is passionate about helping soapmakers sharpen their skills via seminar talks, comprehensive classes and online videos. When not in front of the camera, Catherine is the owner of a trendy soap store, The Soap Deli. She also created and personally directs the annual soapmaking social gathering, SoapCon, and serves as Treasurer on the HSCG Board of Directors. Catherine holds a Bachelors’ Degree and MBA in Marketing and Economics.
